Managers shouldn’t lose their edge in the interview.
If an interview is performed correctly, there is a much greater chance that the interviewer can predict the potential for success of the candidate. Yet too many managers don’t take the time or are too busy to prepare for the interview. The applicant, on the other hand, usually has more time to research the company and plan to say what the interviewer wants to hear. The interviewer needs to prepare for the interview and think about what questions he or she should ask to find the “right fit” candidate!
