When a good employee makes a bad mistake.
Over a period of time, a very good employee can make a costly mistake. After it happens, it’s very easy for that one mistake to dominant everyone’s perception of that employee. It takes real leadership from management to make sure that employee continues to be a motivated, productive part of the team and not pushed out the door. Everyone needs to recognize we are all human and that forgiveness might be the best way for the company to move forward.
