Tip 52 - Performance ReviewTip #52
Bosses must learn how to present productive employee performance reviews.

Performance reviews can cause major stress for both the manager and the employee being reviewed. Managers must take the process seriously and understand what it can mean to the employee.  For instance, no employee likes to receive criticism from their boss.  In order to achieve improvement, managers should focus on constructive feedback, not what the employee is doing wrong.  Timing also can be a factor.
